Jabel Akhdur Moon Hiking

The Details of (Full moon hike):~

Brighter sense and higher mind will be a very special experience during the full.

Details and additional information:

After confirming the booking, we will send you the exact meeting point to start the hike in jabal Akhdar.

• The hike duration from 1.5 hours to 2 hours with guide.
• At the end of the hike we will have stargazing session by using big telescope and astronomer will explain and show the main clear objects in the sky (moon, any clear objects like planets Saturn ,Jupiter, clusters , nebulas ) with general explanation in astronomy and sky map.
• Take Live Photos and Video for objects through telescope.
• Make sure you bring good clothes with proper shoes for hiking.
• Water and snack provided.

Safety Information

Participants must be physically capable of walking a total of (3 km) on mountain trails , up and down .

• Children must stay close to parents. This is a night hike, and it is extremely easy to become lost once separated from the group.

• Be prepared for varying temperatures and weather conditions. You may need a hat, jacket, and gloves. The temperature drops quickly as the sun goes down.

• Closed-toe shoes are required.

• One liter of water per person is recommended.

• Flashlights, headlamps, and flash photography are not allowed only in necessary. The main idea is dependent on the moonlight, and we live the experience.

Young Children:

Due to moderate to difficult conditions (i.e., darkness, rough trail) on this program, it is not recommended to bring young children and infants on the Full Moon Hike. This trail is not stroller accessible. But another choice you can keep them in the meeting point where the astronomer sit and prepare the observation and stargazing.
